Change

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8

Your schedule fluctuates from day to day, and you have the calendar to prove it. Decades ago, life was pretty much the same every day, especially for women. Most of what we did was for others: church and big family dinners on Sunday, wash on Mondays, ironing on Tuesdays, etc.
Aren't you glad you live in a time when you can experience new things every day? As you long for consistency, look to Jesus. His loving character never changes. HE was, is and will be.

Challenge

Because the Sovereign Lord helps me,I will not be disgraced. Therefore have I set face like flint, and know I will not be put to shame. Isaiah 50:7

Life is full of challenges. While some are short-term, others last a lifetime. What keeps you determined and motivated? Do you seek the help of others or prefer to go alone? Take a toddler's approach to these challenges. As she ventures into walking, she takes one step at a time, with help from steady adult or an available piece of furniture. Eventually, she walks on her own. With God's help, take life's challenge one step at a time.

Speak, O Lord

Speak , O Lord, and renew our minds; Help us grasp the height of Your plans for us.

Truth unchanged from the dawn of time, that will echo down through eternity.

And by grace we'll stand on Your promises; And by faith we'll walk with us.

Speak, O Lord till Your church is built and the earth is filled with Your glory.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Bible verse: Give thanks whatever happens. 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Thoughts to Grow On: I'm sure you can easily cheer, "Thank you God!" when fun and excting things come your way. But what do you do during the hard times? How do you act during the bad times?Do you groan? Do you complain? Do you whine or throw a fit? Jesus has a better way. Be thankful. If you"l let him, Jesus will help you find something to be thankful for in everey situation even in your worst times.

A Farmer's Life

Bible verse: Do not be fooled: You cannot cheat God. A person harvest only what he plants. Galations 6:7

Thoughts to grow on: Have you ever heard ofa farmer planting corn seed to grow tomatoes? Of course not. Things simpledo not work that way. If you want to havest tomatoes, you better plant tomato seeds. The same is true with your life. If you want your liife to be truly good, plant the seeds of godly words, godly thoughts and Godly actions in your heart and mind.

On Butterfly wings

Bible versse: If anyone belongs to Christ, then he is made new. The old things have gone; everything is made new! 2 Corinthians 5:17

Thoughts to Grow on: Have you ever seen a caterpillar spin itself into a cocoon? An amazing thing is quietly happening inside that silky womb: The caterpillar is being transformed into a butterfly.
God is working an even more amazing transformation in you! And you don't have to curl up inside a cocoon to experience it. God transforming the "regular you" into the "new creation
you" That "newcreation you" can do something the "regular you" could never do_ it can be like Jesus!

You are God's Special Project

Bible verse: "You God made my whole being. You formed me in my mother's body. I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way." Psalm 139:13-14

Thoughts to Grow On: Have you ever made something you really liked? A drawing, an invention, or a special project? You probably kept it in a place where everyone could see it and where it would be safe. Can you remember how pleased you felt?

"Attitudes"

Words can never adequately convey the incredible impact of our attitude toward
life. The longer I live more conviced that life is 10 percent what happens to us and 90 percent how we respond to it.

I believe the single most significant decision I can make on a day-to-day basis is my choice of attitude. It is more imprtant than my past, my education, my bankroll, my successes or failures, fame or pain, what other people think of me or say about me, my circumstances, or my postion. Attitude keeps me going or cripple my progress.
It qlone fuels my fire or assults my hope. When my attitude are right, there's no barrier too high, no valley too deep, no dreams too extreme, no challege too great for me.

Beautiful Christian Sister

"A women heart should be so hidden in Christ
That a man should have to seek Him first to find her'

When I say I am a Christian I'm not shouting I'm clean living.'
I'm whispering I was lost, NOw I'm found and forgiven'

When I say I am a Christian I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say I am a Christian I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I am weak and need His strength to carry on.
When I say I am a Christian I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.
When I say I am a Christian I'm not claiming to be prefect,
My flaws are far too visible but God believes I am worth it.

When I say I am a Christian I still feel the sting of pain....
I have my share of heartaches so I call upon His name.

When I am a Christian' I am a Christian I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just simple sinner Who recieve God's good grace, somehow!
